Clarkstown voters head to polls to elect town supervisor

Posted: Updated:
CLARKSTOWN -

Clarkstown residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote for a town supervisor.

Republican incumbent George Hoehmann says he's confident he'll win against former police chief Michael Sullivan.

"I think the race is the race. I'm confident in my record and very confident the people understand what my record is,” said Hoehmann.

Sullivan, a Democrat, is promising to end corruption and cut taxes.

"We're looking for a 10 percent tax cut in three years. End corruption, financial responsibility into town, force our zoning laws to protect neighborhood and quality of life,” said Sullivan.
