Nutritionists are weighing-in on the topic if drinking coffee on an empty stomach is bad for your health.
According to nutritionists, there is nothing wrong with prioritizing your daily fix, but you should be wary if drinking on an empty stomach.
Experts say coffee can take a serious toll on your digestive system, but only for some people.
Coffee can jumpstart the stomach's production of acid, causing heartburn and indigestion.
Doctors say that first cup of coffee sabotages our circadian rhythm, meaning coffee actually decreases your cortisol levels, making you feel sleepier.
Instead, try drinking coffee in the mid-morning or early-afternoon.
