For those that say it's never too early to get into the holiday spirit, there are a few events to check out this weekend.

Starting tonight, the famous Jones Beach Holiday Light Show gets underway. This year, the display has all new LED lights and new displays. The 2.5-mile show down Ocean Parkway runs through Dec. 31.

Also, the 24th Annual Holiday Boat Parade on the Patchogue River will be holding a preview Saturday night. The main event will be Sunday starting at 6 p.m.

And for those that can't wait to put up a Christmas tree, Home Depot has you covered. Fresh-cut Fraser Firs have arrived at the Home Depot on Jericho Turnpike in Commack.
