Traffic relatively clear on Thanksgiving night

While some people made their way to stores and shopping malls for early Black Friday deals, others were driving home after spending the day eating food with family.

By around 10 p.m., traffic on the Saw Mill River Parkway was moving steadily.

News 12 spoke with some drivers who said traffic was far more congested on the Bronx and Hutchinson River parkways.

One woman said she couldn't believe the volume of traffic on Thanksgiving. She added that people should have been home spending time with their families instead of out shopping.
