New City men arrested after graffiti spree in Nyack

Two New City men have been charged with going on a vandalism spree in downtown Nyack.

Orangetown police say James Shea, 26,  Jonathan Shashoua, 19, are facing 11 counts of criminal mischief, making graffiti and possessing graffiti instruments.

According to authorities, the two are responsible for spray painting 11 separate locations in Nyack between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Sept. 19.

The two have been arraigned in Nyack Justice Court.
