PORT CHESTER -

Netflix was in Port Chester Wednesday filming for a series called "R3."

Residents were warned that some actors were wearing tactical gear with weapons. Other actors were dressed as police officers. The filming was expected to include a vehicle on fire.

The set, which is on Willett Avenue just off North Main Street, is closed off to all traffic until 4 a.m. Thursday.

The Port Chester police chief says the exposure is great for the village, with many people stopping to look and take pictures.
