A Newburgh man is in critical condition after setting himself on fire at a gas station on Sunday, police say.
The incident occurred at a Shell gas station on Broadway.
Police say surveillance video from the gas station shows the unidentified man dousing himself in gasoline, and ultimately lighting himself on fire.
The store's owner says the man, who prepaid for gas inside the store, has been a customer for years.
It's not clear if authorities are considering it to be an attempted suicide or possible terror incident.
Several customers were nearby during the incident, but no one else was hurt.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 845-561-3131.
