NEWBURGH -

A Newburgh man has been sentenced for kidnapping and raping four women.

Officials say 50-year-old Theodore Edwards was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to sex trafficking.

Between 2015 and 2016 officials say he held the women inside a home on Broadway in Newburgh, abused them and forced them to perform sex acts on him.

The 50-year-old also advertised sex with three of the victims online.
