SPRING VALLEY -

Police are searching for the men responsible for an armed robbery at a Spring Valley deli around midnight Sunday.

Surveillance video shows two people walk into Maple Deli. As they opened the door, officials say one man pulled out a weapon from his pocket.

Naeem Ahmad was working behind the counter at the deli on Maple Avenue that night. He says the men came in masks and took him, another employee and two customers into a back room.

Ahmad says the men stole all the money from the register.

He says he called 911, but by the time police showed up, the suspects ran off.

"They exited the store and jumped into an SUV vehicle that was parked on Johnston Street and fled the area,” says Sgt. Roxanne Lopez, of the Spring Valley Police Department.

Police are now searching for those two suspects and the getaway driver. They are asking anyone with information to contact them at 845-356-7400.
