Nassau County police officers helped brighten the holidays for some disadvantaged children Saturday with a toy store shopping spree.
More than 100 homeless and disadvantaged children were allotted $120 to buy whatever toys they wanted at Matty's Toy Stop in Hewlett.
The money came from a donation by the Nassau Police Benevolent Association and the Nassau County Police Department Foundation.
Santa Claus was also in attendance at the store.
