Weather: Rain to turn into snow overnight

The Hudson Valley needs to brace itself for unsettled weather over the next seven days.

News 12 meteorologists say that today will see mild temperatures but rain is expected to enter the region later this afternoon.  High are expected around 43 degrees.

However, cold air will rush in later this evening and the rain will transition into snow around midnight.  The snow is expected to continue through the morning and will create a messy commute. Accumulations are only expected to be a coating to two inches.

Rain and snow are expected on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday in the upcoming week.
