Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney announced Tuesday that he won't support any federal spending bill that doesn't include protection for DACA immigrants.
Maloney vowed to support so-called “Dreamers” at all costs ahead of a threatened government shutdown on Friday.
"Here we are, at the end of the budget cycle, backs against the wall, facing a government shutdown because this president has manufactured a crisis and made it worse by using racist and incendiary language,” said Maloney.

Maloney is among a number of Democrats against the controversial immigration reform in President Donald Trump's proposed spending bill. The congressman is heading back to Washington, D.C. for last-minute budget talks.
The spending bill as it is now would put an end to DACA in March.
