Anti-violence activists rallied in Mott Haven Thursday following the shooting death of a local woman outside a bodega.
Mourners took turns calling for an end to violence and sharing memories of Shaquanna Button, who was shot in the face after an argument inside the store.
Activists say the community had gone more than 200 days without a shooting before Button's slaying.
