Reward offered in Randolph gun range firearms theft

A reward is now being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the thieves who stole several firearms from a Randolph gun range.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, announced Thursday a combined reward of up to $10,000.
Authorities said at least two burglarized RTSP Firearms & Training on Route 10 East late Tuesday night.
ATF officials said approximately 11 handguns were stolen. RTSP workers told News 12 New Jersey that the thieves smashed a retail display case in order to get to some of the firearms.
The ATF, Randolph Police Department and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the crime.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the ATF 24/7 hotline at 1-888-283-8477 or send an email to ATFTips@atf.gov.  Citizens can also send a text anonymously via the ReportIt mobile app, available through www.reportit.com, using the ATF Newark Field Division as the location.
