Stamford police are stepping up patrols after making three DUI arrests in an eight-hour period.
The first case was Thursday on Smith Street when a driver allegedly backed into another car with a 1-year-old inside.
Early Friday morning police arrested another driver who they say was slumped over in his car.
Minutes later, there was a car rollover on Fourth Street. Apparently the driver was somehow sitting upright inside the car on her cellphone.
Police say they're boosting patrols.
