Posted: Updated:CHESTNUT RIDGE -
A teen pop star made a special appearance at local middle school.
Grace VanderWaal, of Suffern, shared the stage with local kids at the Little Miracles Show Choir in Chestnut Ridge.
The group is made up of fourth, fifth, and sixth-graders from the East Ramapo School District.
VanderWaal formed the choir last year to help get students involved in music. "It’s my community. You know, it’s all of our community. We all want to help love and save and all power to our community," says VanderWaal.
The 13-year-old became an instant star when she won the big prize on the TV show “America's Got Talent.”
