A Norwalk police officer is recovering after a man in a stolen truck crashed into his cruiser.

It started Tuesday around 3 a.m. on the off ramp of I-95 at Exit 14.

According to police, when the officer pulled behind the truck, the driver intentionally crashed into the car, and then drove away.

Police say the suspect later drove the truck directly at another officer on Flax Hill Road before finally crashing on Highland Avenue.

The suspect then ran away.
