Sleepy Hollow veteran receives 5 medals for service in Korean War

A veteran from Sleepy Hollow finally received his service medals, more than 60 years after he earned them.
Rep. Nita Lowey presented five medals to Mario DeFelice for his service in the Korean War.
DeFelice worked on aircraft carriers in the Navy from 1948-1951.
Lowey advocated for DeFelice and helped him to receive his medals.
DeFelice says he plans to give at least one of the medals to his granddaughter.
