Turn To Tara: School bus driver suspended for allegedly watching porn on the job

YONKERS -

Turn To Tara has learned that a Yonkers school bus driver has been suspended for allegedly watching pornography while transporting student athletes.

Cellphone video obtained by Turn To Tara shows someone watching an undressed woman on a cellphone.

The person who sent the video tells News 12 that the man watching the pornographic material is a bus driver for First Mile Square LLC, one of the companies contracted by Yonkers schools.

The video was allegedly taken when the driver was escorting the Saunders High School basketball team to Boston for a game on Jan. 6.

The bus company, which is one of the largest bus providers in Westchester County and the nation, referred questions about the driver to its corporate number, citing an internal investigation.

The Yonkers School District told News 12 that it isn’t sure if the video was taken during an out-of-state trip with students yet, but that it has suspended two bus employees while an investigation gets underway.

Turn To Tara also reached out to the Saunders basketball coach, who was on the trip. He said neither he nor his students noticed any pornography being shown.

The driver does not appear to have a criminal background, but one person came forward to News 12 with claims that the driver has recorded female students in the past and shared it with his co-workers.
