Throgs Neck bar faces backlash after risqué pictures appear on social media

The owner of a popular Throgs Neck bar answered to a Bronx Community Board Tuesday night after risqué photos emerged on social media from a Super Bowl Sunday party.
Photos and video of a woman stripped down to just her underwear inside the Vapor Lounge on East Tremont Avenue were the source of complaints for Community Board 10.
According to the board, it received a number of complaints from residents who felt the party was out of hand and questioned if it violated the conditions of the business's liquor license.
In the video, a woman was stripped to her underwear, dancing and posed on her hands and feet while being thrown dollar bills.
They've had a history of issues throughout their couple of years in this area. This is certainly a setback for them," District Manager Matthew Cruz says of the Vapor Lounge.
Cruz also says the board will be looking at ways to work with the community and the bar to "do the right things."
The bar's management did say at the meeting that they had a lapse in judgment and made a mistake. They assured the committee an incident like the one in question would not happen again.
The bar says it wants to let the community know it will not operate as any type of strip club or similar establishment.
