Westchester trailblazer passes away

A Westchester trailblazer passed away Monday night at the age of 90.

Lois Bronz was the first African-American woman elected to the County Legislature, and was also the first African-American woman to serve as Legislature chairperson.

Bronz served for 16 years on the Greenburgh Town Board and was an educator for 30 years.

Her husband passed away last year. She is survived by two children and several grandchildren.
