NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) -- The Millburn High School volleyball coach, who also is a bookkeeper for the town's school board, is accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old.
Prosecutors have charged 50-year-old Peter Nguyen, of Edison, with aggravated criminal sexual contact, sexual contact and child endangerment.
Authorities say Nguyen took the girl to his home, gave her alcohol and inappropriately touched her.
The girl was a member of the Impact Volleyball Club in Rahway, where Nguyen has coached for three years.
He's being held in the Middlesex County jail pending a detention hearing on Friday.
