Yonkers DPW out in force during wintry blast

Crews in cities and towns across Westchester and the Hudson Valley spent Saturday night dealing with wintry blast.
Yonkers Department of Public Works Commissioner Thomas Meier says crews were sent out to treat local roadways before the precipitation, will be clearing it into the early morning.
News 12 meteorologists say there will be a mix of snow and rain overnight, with temperature at 30 degrees.
Officials are warning drivers to take slow on the roads.
After the overnight snowfall and precipitation, Sunday's forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-40s, followed by a warming trend into next week.
