Best of the Bronx: Marathon officer

An NYPD officer is taking on his next big challenge as he prepares for the Abbott World Marathon.
There are six marathons in the course. The races are in Chicago, Boston, New York City, Tokyo, Berlin and London.
Officer Ernest Morales is getting ready for his run in Berlin, Germany, which will be his 21st marathon.
"I feel as a leader, as the commanding officer of the 42nd Precinct, I have to lead by example," Morales says. "So I have to be out there. If I expect my teammates to emulate professionalism, I have to look professional."
Morales will be running with “NYPD” across his chest, representing the boys in blue.
Morales says his athletic ability runs deep and that he has been counting on sports to keep him physically and mentally fit since he was a kid.
