Police search for man accused of 3 citywide robberies

Police are searching for a man they say committed three gunpoint robberies around the city.
News 12 is told the man allegedly robbed two businesses in Manhattan and a woman in Brooklyn.
Police say last Saturday, the armed suspect ambushed a 47-year-old in her car as she was double parked on Smith Street in Boerum Hill.
She was able to get out of the car, but the suspect took off with her purse, her debit and credit cards and $200 cash.
Officials say the same man also robbed the Ricky's store on Third Avenue in Manhattan on March 14 and a 7-Eleven on Fifth Avenue last month. He took cash in both of cases.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
