Power companies to reimburse storm victims

If you lost power for several days during last month’s storms, you could soon see a few extra bucks in your bank account.

Con Edison says homeowners who lost power for three or more days will get about $3 for their monthly delivery charge.

O&R customers will be receiving a similar credit on their bills.

The price adjustment is in addition to reimbursements of up to $515 offered to cover spoiled food and medicine during the March nor'easters.
