According to Cheddar, in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica data scandal, Instagram will soon allow users to download all of their data, including photos and messages. The move will help the company comply with a proposed European data privacy rule that will require all data to be portable.
Reddit is standing behind free speech. The CEO of the company responded to a user question, saying racism, including slurs, is allowed on the platform. He said the company will only interfere when users' actions conflict with its content policies. Reddit just shut down nearly 1,000 suspicious accounts that were linked to Russian trolls.
Elon Musk is taking Model 3 production delays personally. Tesla's CEO admits he's been sleeping on the floor of the factory because he doesn't have time to go home or take a shower. In the week leading into April, Tesla produced about 500 fewer Model 3 vehicles than its 2,500 goal. Musk only just took over the role of overseeing Model 3 production earlier this month.
