A nearly 100-year-old YMCA building in Westchester County is up for sale.
The 118,000-square-foot White Plains YMCA on Mamaroneck Avenue is due to be shut down within two years.
CEO Cindy Rubino says the facility is beyond repair with aging infrastructure, including a pool that hasn't been open since last summer and is not due to ever reopen.
Some tenants have expressed concerns that they will have no place to go once the building closes.
Rubino says she’s is hoping to relocate the YMCA, but finding a home for the building's 144 tenants makes that more challenging.
The White Plains YMCA will be holding a housing fair on May 4 and May 7 for tenants to ask questions and help them find homes.
