A Bridgeport woman is trying to track down the good Samaritan who helped save her son's life after he was shot in the chest.
Corbin Cooper, 18, was critically injured with multiple gunshot wounds near the PT Barnum Housing Complex Sunday.
Relatives say several people passed the injured teen without offering any help, but a man identified only as Kev put Cooper in his car and rushed him to the hospital.
Doctors say Kev's reaction saved Cooper's life.
"Words just can't express how I feel," says Michelle Brown, the victim's mother. "I just want him to know that I appreciate him, he's like a guardian angel."
Cooper's mother and sister say they want to thank Kev personally.
Police are still investigating the shooting and have not yet made any arrests.
