AT&T employees help freshen up Newark’s Weequahic High School

A group of AT&T employees volunteered Wednesday to help clean up Newark’s Weequahic High School.
Over 120 workers came to the school to help repaint it. They joined with the national education organization “City Years” to freshen up the building and update the landscaping.
"I just appreciate the opportunity that AT&T allows me as an employee to give back,” says volunteer Jackie Jackson. “I'm excited about today and we hope to have other projects like this around the country this year."
AT&T employees have also been mentoring Weequahic High School students for the last five years.
April is National Volunteer month.
