WHITE PLAINS -

A man accused of killing a Tarrytown woman faced a judge today.

Cynell Brown, 28, pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting death of 34-year-old Jessica Wiltse, a mother of two.

Police say Brown shot and killed Wiltse at her apartment on White Plains Road in February. Brown was arrested at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan after a manhunt.

Wiltse's father, Eric, says he intends to follow the process through patiently. He says his heart and prayers go out to the suspect's family and parents.

Brown is also charged with criminal possession of marijuana, possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence. He is due back in court May 15.
