Route 18, NJ Turnpike reopen following truck crash
All lanes on Route 18 and the New Jersey Turnpike have been reopened following a truck crash in East Brunswick.
The tractor-trailer overturned on the off-ramp near Exit 9 on the Turnpike Tuesday afternoon, spilling its load. The county hazmat team and DOT officials were called in to clean up the crash.
Lanes on Route 18 and Interchange 9 on the Turnpike were closed for several hours, causing heavy traffic buildup.
New Jersey State Police say that the truck driver suffered minor injuries in the crash.
