Officials: 9 charged with selling drugs in Rockland area

NYACK -

Detectives at the Rockland County District Attorney's Office say they have cracked open a massive narcotics ring.

Nine people, including 32-year-old Stanley Juin, of Nyack, and 32-year-old Gladimir Boursiquot, of West Haverstraw, were arrested for allegedly selling cocaine and other drugs to approximately 150 customers in the Rockland area.

Officials say the suspects sold primarily out of seven bars and restaurants in Nyack and Pearl River.

Authorities made the arrests after an extensive yearlong operation that included informants, surveillance video and undercover officers. They believe the suspects had been dealing drugs and making illicit sales for years.

"We did a search warrant at Gladimir's residence and recovered $77,000 just sitting in his bedroom. So to get a profit like that and live off it, you have to be doing it for a while," says Al Drake, of the Rockland County District Attorney's Office.

Detectives say Boursiquot made frequent drug runs to New York City, then supplied his cousin Juin, who sold to Jenna Cippoletti and Paige Willock.

Both women worked at bars in Nyack and allegedly sold there without anyone but addicts and undercover officers knowing about their illicit sales.

Officials say none of the local bars or restaurants were complicit in the drug operation in any way.

Boursiquot also allegedly sold drugs to Kevin Michel, Ronal Babcock, Joseph Sweeney, Matthew Sobieraj and Jenna Pipolo.

Each of the suspects then allegedly peddled drugs in Pearl River, Clarkstown, Ramapo and Spring Valley.

All nine suspects are facing various felony drug and conspiracy charges.

Detectives say some suspects could face up to nine years in state prison if convicted.
