Two men are facing charges after more than 500 pounds of marijuana was seized by authorities in Suffolk County.
State police say a search warrant was executed at 1377 Carlls Straight Path in Dix Hills and two storage facilities in East Northport. The marijuana seized has a street value of more than $2 million. Police say they also found $200,000 in cash, along with multiple vehicles.

Authorities arrested Steven Polizzi, 57, and Wesley Snider, 28. Both lived at the home on Carlls Straight Path. They were remanded to Suffolk County Jail in lieu of bail.
This isn’t Polizzi’s first brush with the law. Around 2012, there was a raid by the DEA and Suffolk County police in the Dix Hills house. He was one of 13 people arrested in a marijuana and ketamine trafficking operation.
Neighbors in Dix Hills told News 12 that they didn’t suspect the men of being involved in a drug operation.
The two arrests were the result of a long-term investigation involving New York State Police, Troop L Narcotics Unit and the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
