Lobby sinks at Spring Creek Towers

For a little while Sunday, visitors could enter the Spring Creek Towers and sink into the floor, tenants say, because the lobby caved in.
Contractors spent most of Monday working to repair the lobby at 1445 Geneva Loop, but they say they don't expect to finish the job until Tuesday.
The building's maintenance department says the floor buckled around 7:30 p.m. Sunday as tiles shifted due to changing weather.
Tenants say the building has a history of shoddy, short-term repairs, but a new management company took over a few weeks ago.
Brookville and Rockpoint, the new management, says it is committed to improving maintenance in the building.
The city Department of Buildings says it was not called to the address, so it appears that there is no structural damage.
