Turn To Tara: Tree removal company comes to aid of White Plains woman

Posted: Updated:
WHITE PLAINS -

A desperate call for help from a White Plains resident has been answered, thanks to Turn To Tara.

Less than a day after News 12 aired the story about Annette Boyd, a woman who sustained home damage from the March nor'easters, a well-known tree removal company came to the rescue.

A massive tree fell on Boyd’s Primrose Street home during the first nor’easter. Boyd says neither she nor her landlord could afford to remove the tree.

Arborist Todd O’Neill, owner of the Gemini Land and Tree Management Company, says he saw the story and felt he should help her.

O’Neill told Boyd that he could remove the tree by the weekend.
