Patient threatens hospital worker with knife

A Rockland County man is under arrest for allegedly threatening to stab a hospital worker.

Orangetown police say Stephen Lucchese, 41, was a patient at Nyack Hospital when he pulled out a knife on an employee.

The New City man is charged with menacing and criminal weapons possession, an automatic felony since officials say he is a repeat offender.

Lucchese is in the Rockland County Jail until his next court appearance.
