Brewster man pleads guilty to slashing cabbie

A Brewster man has admitted to attacking a taxi driver with a knife.

Manuel Estabon, 43, pleaded guilty to attempted assault on Wednesday.

This past February, police say the Guatemalan native leaned over from the back seat and slashed the cabbie's face, neck and hands.

Estabon is expected to receive five years in prison when he's sentenced in August. He also faces deportation.
