Highbridge community marches after 2 shootings

Dozens of community members took to the streets Tuesday night in an effort to condemn gun violence.
Highbridge community members say they are fed up after at least two shootings within a few blocks of each other in less than a week.
One of those occurred on June 7 near Nelson Playground and injured a 13-year-old girl.
Police say the shooter hit the girl while firing at a rival gang member.
On Tuesday, droves of concerned community members delivered their message with a march that finished at West 166th Street and Summit Avenue.
Police say a quadruple shooting took place at that intersection on June 12, only blocks away from Nelson Playground.
Sources say both shootings were gang-related.
A detective told News 12 that police don’t have anyone in custody for the Nelson Playground shooting, but they have identified a suspect.
