New Rochelle High School was in the spotlight this year amid a string of violence, but graduating seniors took a big step toward putting all that behind them.
New Rochelle High School held its graduation for the class of 2018 Thursday night at McKenna Field. The students have experienced much hardship over the last year—stabbings, fights, a grade inflation investigation and a suicide just earlier this week.
Seniors told News 12 that nothing about the past year has been easy, but say they've faced these hardships together and are now starting the next chapter of life with more strength and resilience.
Students also told News 12 that they won't forget what they've learned at New Rochelle High School, both in and out of the classroom.
