RYE BROOK -

For the 13th time this year, a truck has struck the King Street overpass on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Rye Brook.

Police say the latest crash happened around 8:30 a.m. today.

There was no damage to the bridge. However, the box truck, which was not carrying any cargo, was damaged. It was cleared from the scene around 9:30 a.m.

No injuries have been reported.

It’s not known what caused the latest bridge mishap, but in the past, truck drivers have said their GPS led them onto the roadway. The on-going mishaps have been the focus of discussions between the county, the state and trucking groups.
