There are new developments in a Turn To Tara probe into alleged abusive airport security screenings.
A Pound Ridge yoga instructor decided to Turn To Tara in February, claiming to be the subject of an abusive airport screening by a female agent at the Orlando Sanford International Airport.
Roseanne Stone filed a complaint after she says the agent gave her an uncomfortable and intrusive check inside her pelvic region that left her traumatized for weeks.
The airport outsources its security to private firms as part of a  “screening partnership program” with the TSA.
A public records request turned up 248 other complaints in just three years made by male and female passengers at the same airport, including 18 reports of inappropriate touching and sexual assault.
According to News 12’s research, the private firm hired to run the airport’s security is Trinity Technology Group, which was paid $24 million back in 2014 to take over security for the TSA through the end of 2019.
News 12 reached out to airport officials who referred Turn To Tara to the TSA. The TSA said all complaints received were forwarded to Trinity Technology Group, which is responsible for hiring the agents.
