ARMONK -

A local chef is about to become a household name after being named the newest Food Network Star.

Chef Christian Petroni won the title of 'Food Network Star' by Bobby Flay and now gets his own show.

Petroni gave his celebratory speech last night in front of a few hundred people at his Fortina restaurant in Armonk. "I gotta tell you, this is the craziest, craziest experience I've ever been through in my life."

The  34-year-old is no stranger to fame.  He's also won Season Four of 'Chopped,’ served as a judge on that show and "Beat Bobby Flay."

His Fortina restaurants also have locations in Rye Brook, Yonkers, Brooklyn and Stamford.
