A Bronx restaurant is cooking up Mexican classics with a bit of a modern twist. 

VAYA is located on Eastchester Road  in Morris Park and serves up homemade sauces, guacamole and even flan.

However, owners say they wanted to put a spin on Mexican food and give it a modern flair.

One of their most popular items is the VAYA Burger-- a burger made with chorizo and ground beef.

It's got a spicy flavor to it after being grilled and topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and avocado.

The VAYA burger is served with yucca fries and a side of homemade chipotle sauce.
