Attorneys for a Hoboken bar that is under investigation for lewdness say that a police officer may have been involved in the acts.
The incidents supposedly revolved around an appearance at the bar by the social media personality “The Slut Whisperer.” Videos of the incident at the HUB bar forced the bar to temporarily close last week.
A letter from the lawyer reads in part, “It is believed that the male [seen in the video] is employed by the State of Pennsylvania as a law enforcement officer and it is our sincere hope that arrests are imminent for their lewd conduct which has seriously harmed our reputation.”
The bar owners say that they are fully cooperating with the Hoboken Police Department as they investigation the incident.
City officials are looking to possibly revoke the bar’s liquor license.
