School officials: Students may have been exposed to hepatitis A

Parents at Nottingham High School in Hamilton are being warned by school officials their kids may have been exposed to hepatitis A.
Parents are being urged to contact their child’s doctor, according to a letter sent out by the school Friday.
The letter does not specify the circumstances of the potential exposure.
Most people are vaccinated for hepatitis A by their pediatricians and are not at serious risk of contracting the virus.
