A group of Superstorm Sandy victims helped gather food and supplies in hope to bring relief to the many affected by Florence in North Carolina and South Carolina.
A group called the Sandy Weekday Warriors packed up vans before making the six-hour drive down to the Carolinas.
Superstorm Sandy survivor Michaela Murray-Nolan says she knows first-hand what the people affected by Florence are going through.
"We know the damage water can do to your belongings, to your memories, losing photographs. So we have a lot of compassion and we're ready to help," says Murray-Nolan.
Members of the group say this is there chance to pay-it-forward.
Sandy Weekday Warriors member Joan DeLucia says she will be taking another caravan of supplies down to the Carolinas on Monday, for those who still would like to donate.
