Churchgoers gathered Sunday at St. John’s Episcopal Church to celebrate its 325th year as a parish.
St. John's is the oldest church in Yonkers and is listed as an historic site.
Parishioners say the church has been a major part of the fabric of their community and their families for decades.
Churchgoers were able to take a tour of the church and took part in a luncheon. News 12 is told that money raised from the luncheon will contribute to the fundraising effort to restore windows in the building.
