Rockland sewer repair explosion injures 2

SLOATSBURG -

An explosion injured two people at a sewer repair site in Rockland County on Monday.

Crews were working on Route 17 in Sloatsburg when dust and debris was launched from dig site in the road.

Police say it appears the workers were clearing material from an earlier blast.

Two workers were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The explosion is under investigation. Ramapo police shared surveillance video of the blast.
