Newburgh woman pleads guilty to sex trafficking involving teensPosted: Updated:
A Newburgh woman has plead guilty to two counts of sex trafficking.
Franiqua Patterson was accused of forcing two female teens to engage in prostitution activity.
Officials say Patterson admitted to forcing a 15-year-old and 19-year-old to engage in prostitution by threatening them with physical violence.
The 25-year-old also pleaded guilty to attempted assault for injuring a woman with a knife back in January.
Patterson faces 12 years in prison and five years post release supervision when she is sentenced in December.
